The Carnaby Estate

Our Client, Shaftesbury Plc, own a large number of buildings in Central London, on several distinct Estates, including Carnaby, Chinatown and Soho. The total area owned by Shaftesbury across the various estates is 1.5msqft with a 2011 valuation of £1.8 billion. We have worked on projects for Shaftesbury since 1997 and have recently commenced our 70th commission, to convert the upper floors of a 1930’s commercial building into new apartments.

Most of the Estates are located within Conservation Areas and many buildings are Listed, this adds another level of complexity and scrutiny for proposed alterations to these buildings.
