These two separate buildings were combined above ground floor to create 8 new flats, with a shared lift and staircase. This combination created more habitable space from former staircases and so maximized the value of the scheme. A small roof level extension was built to increase the lettable floor area.

The ground floor corridor to the lift was designed to be a journey through woodland, with a timber undulating ceiling, timber wall paneling and a woodland image in a light box at the end.
