Norway Lane
A development of new houses on a difficult site in Sussex. Noisy roads and a railway line bounded three sides and so windows to habitable rooms were not possible on these elevations. The western aspect overlooked a lake and so this became the focus for the scheme. The houses were located close to the lake to provide private space close the water with access and car parking behind the buildings. The context enabled a modern design and the houses were designed as 2 and 3 storey buildings with full glazing facing west.
