The Priory is a Grade ll Listed Building in Somerset. Part of the building was originally built as a mill, and the river still runs through the property, but now it is hidden underground in a culvert built in the early 19th century. The original building has been extended over time and is connected to a former 18th century detached cottage, to form a substantial dwelling. A programme of work has been undertaken including repairs to roofs and walls, new kitchen and bathrooms and extensive internal and external decorations. Planning permission has recently been granted to build a 5 bedroom detached house in the grounds, and work is programmed to begin in the Spring of 2012.
A grade ll Listed, part former mill building, now converted to a residence. A programme of improvement works and refurbishment has been undertaken, including dealing with damp, re-roofing sections of the roof, re-building an outbuilding to provide a fitness area and external limewashing.
Planning permission has been gained to build a new house extending to 250sqm in the grounds of The Priory. This will have a separate acces and be screened from the existing Listed Building.
