Burton Park
Petworth, Sussex
Grade l Listed Building
The neo-classic styled mansion was built between 1828 and 1831 to replace a former house on the site which was destroyed by fire.
Planning and Listed Building Consent was granted for an extensive programme of demolition of the modern extensions and outbuildings and to convert the main house and original outbuildings into apartments.
The design of the new mews marks the transition from the bold architecture of the mansion to the smaller scale of the original stable courtyard.
