CODE for sustainable home assessment

We believe that sustainability should influence the earliest stages of the design process and we continue to support initiatives which move towards a culture of more sustainable development.

By reviewing the project as early as possible, we can advise on the best route to achieve the anticipated Code level and also recommend any improvements that may be required.

Accordingly, we are licensed to undertake Code for Sustainable Homes Assessments.

The Code is a national bench mark tool for assessing new housing. It measures sustainability against 9 key criteria – including energy efficiency, rain water harvesting and cycle storage.

All new affordable homes are currently required to achieve a minimum Level 3 pass.
